How to Play Murder

1. Play as the assassin: click and hold behind the king to raise your dagger quietly.
2. Release at the right moment to stab — if the king turns while you're raising, you're caught.
3. After taking the throne, watch for your own assassin and press the key at the exact moment to catch their strike.
4. Survive as king to score; every successful regicide starts the cycle again.

Tips to Win

• As assassin, strike when the king has just looked forward — you get the longest safe window then.
• As king, react to footsteps, not the figure: the sound cue comes before the visible dagger.
• Both roles reward patience — this game is pure timing, one attempt at a time.
